About smaller crowds and intimate atmosphere

Before the official route presentation on !omday (13 january 2025), I added some longer posts to the What we know about Giro d'Italia 2025 so far project about the Giro d'Italia in general.

I tried to capture the essential differences between Tour de France and Giro d'Italia, focusing  especially on the uniqueness of the Italian grand tour.

I also touched on one of my favourite topics related to road cycling: the intimacy of a road cycling race.

Also, there is a post about the charme of a smaller crowd, another way to compare Giro d'Italia and Tour de France.

A few years ago, I would have said confidently, that this kind of posts serve the website very well. But I'm not sure anymore. Ina world where an AI can generate hundreds of similar, and yet different posts within a few minutes, where is the point of being proud of yourself for being able to put together such a long article?

Anyway, I should mention also the similar post written for the What we know about Tour de France 2025 so far project s few months earlier:

Do riders ride every day at the Tour de France?

How do cyclists tackle the punishing climbs of Tour de France?

Why is Tour de France considered the main cycling event?
