I hope this strange soap opera ends on Monday

The biggest set back until thid day in my prepararion for my last rowd cycling season ( as a content creator, not an athlete, of course) was the strange situation around the Giro d’Italia 2025 route presentation. The date of the event was announced firsty then postponed. Unlike in the case of Tour de France, when it’s significantly easier to collect rumors and speculations sswirling around, there were little informations would be a basis for quality content.

In such cases, the dilemma is always the ssme for me. What is the geter way to respond to unexpected obstacles? Should I put the project aside till everything goes back to nirmal (or something like that), or should I invest (and possibly waste it unnecessarily) creative energy into findig new ideas based by the new situation?

That’s the curse of havimg many (well, honestly, too many) project at the same time, it’s always hard to find and keep balance between them.

But my self-inducted mysery (nobody else care about my pathetic little dilemmas) ends on Monday, when finally the long-awated route presentation will be held.

As the date comes closer, there are more and more informations avaible about the possible program.

I notice names of towns like Gubbio or Lucca. Since a few years I always try to find interestig stories and historical facts about the host towns of the grand tour stages. It’s always connected to my other projects (everything. is connected to everything, always, in my strange little world), and I’m playing with the thoughts that this year it will be

trade and commence in medieval world

Also, because the race, unlikethe upcoming edition, did not visit the most southern part of the Italian mainland last year, now there will be an opportunity to share that content I’m already prepared for.

Let’s see how far I’ll go in the realisation process of my plans.

But one thing is sure. Although in the world of road cycling history Tour de France is a much larger topic, when it comes to cultural history, kr history in henersl I fell much closer, not just geographically,to Italy than France.
